The Challenge

Over the years Wilsons advisory had developed a customer financial portal that had ad hoc changes and updates, that were beginning to make the system feel old and a bit messy.

With a new brand being implemented in the face of increased competition for an emerging market of young (under 30) complex investors, the organisation knew it needed to ensure its digital touch points were not only technically savvy but beautiful to use.

The Solution

Together with the digital manager, we worked to plan and implement a design that put the users first. We ran a series of stakeholder interviews, across cities, to get a fair gauge of what people were returning to access the system for.

We also tested future product development options to see how they ranked as features that would be regarded. Finally designs were put forward to ensure that these were meeting the standards of past users. The solution was a sleek new system that allowed greater visibility over one portfolio, was more on brand, but also allowed for greater admin control of tools to help educate and keep users up to date.
